DialFox, The Open Source Asterisk Phone Directory
- This version provide admin sign-in, if only admin should made changes.
These option is set in config.php with the default value any can modify phonebook, if you want only admin are able to add/change/delete items, then assign a password to $_SESSION['admin_pwd'] = ''; hereafter start admin mode with http//your_pbx/phonebook/admin.php

Install HowTo
The following applications are needed
- Apache Webserver 2.x +
- PHP-Standard-Module 4.2 +
- Asterisk 1.2 +
- MySQL 4.1 +
- FreePBX or trixbox (Optional)
Simply install estimate time less then 5 minutes, the code was written on Debian GNU/Linux, any other distribution shoud work well, like ubuntu or Fedora. surely trixbox too, it's build on CentOS (RedHat).
- Follow this install howto, will need to create an SQL database, download and copy the source to your apache doc-root
- Run in browser http://your_pbx/phonebook/book.php
- Go to settings and add your extension and prefix if it's appreciated
additionally you may create your shortcut with drag & drop the url to desktop - Optionally you got a browser popup at incoming calls, this guide help you to implement ADM
