Openfire is a cross-platform real-time collaboration server based on the XMPP (Jabber) protocol.
Now it is possible to got the presence of users there are member of an Asterisk PBX, clients using Spark Instant Messenger are able to join telephony users, colleagues and customers come together, join a converence, send broadcast messages, receive files and call IM contacts.
